Possible causes:


    Your microphone is picking up a lot of background noise

    Your microphone isn’t working properly

    You are speaking too softly

    Your recording level is too low and should be raised


The microphone may be picking up a lot of background noise if:


    People are talking in the background

    Air conditioning is loud

    Music in the background

    Computer fan is loud

    Microphone is rubbing against anything (including face)


The best solution is to find out what is causing the sound, and either adjust your microphone or computer settings, or move to a quiet location. We also recommend keeping your microphone at least three fingers away from your mouth.
